Pending Sales in Sarasota, Manatee and Charlotte counties were down 5% from
April to May, according to an analysis of Trengraphix, but comparing May with
same month last year showed pending sales rose 43.3%.
Manatee county pending sales were up 6.79% in May compared t with April and 28.8%
compared with a year ago.
Other recent housing indicators have been mixed. New home sales dipped 0.6% in May,
separately, the volume of mortgage applications to purchase a home is effectively flat over
the past 4 weeks.
